What should I expect on the initial visit?
During your initial visit to our family practice and chiropractic center in McAllen, TX, we will discuss your past medical history, pertinent family history, and recent injuries or conditions as well as current lifestyle factors including activity level, nutrition, sleep quality, and work activities. You will be evaluated to determine the cause or nature of the symptoms, which may include imaging if needed. If you already have had some testing, please bring results with you. If you are a chiropractic patient, X-rays are not required; although they may be recommended in some cases. Once a diagnosis is established, we will review treatment options. Our primary goal is to give you the best health care for a thorough recovery and healthy life. Some circumstances require further testing, in which case your diagnosis and/or treatment may be delayed. If your problems cannot be addressed in our office, we work closely with other specialists and will refer you as needed.
